Why Is Identity Theft Repair Free At Imperial Ethics?
Because you did not cause it, and charging you for someone else’s crime is not something we are willing to do.
Every credit repair client of Imperial Ethics Credit Repair gets identity theft work included at no charge. Not discounted, not bundled into a higher monthly rate. If we open your report and find accounts that were never yours, that work does not go on your bill.
Our paid work is the results-based program, where you are charged $97 for each negative item we successfully remove and never for more than eight removals. Identity theft items sit outside that entirely. It is our specialty, we are good at it, and it is how we would want to be treated.
How Do I Know If I Am A Victim Of Identity Theft?
Most people find out from their credit report rather than from a phone call. These are the signs we see most often on Arizona files:
Accounts you did not open
A credit card, auto loan or store account appearing on your report that you have never applied for.
Collections for debts you do not recognize
A collector calling about a medical bill, utility or loan from a company you have never used.
Addresses that are not yours
The personal information section listing places you have never lived. This is often the first sign.
Hard inquiries you cannot explain
Lenders pulling your credit when you were not applying for anything.
A sudden score drop
Thirty or forty points gone with no missed payment and no new balance of your own.
A rejected tax return
The IRS saying a return has already been filed under your Social Security number.
What Do You Actually Do About It?
A fraudulent account is disputed differently than an ordinary one. The account is real, so a routine verification confirms it exists and nothing changes. What we challenge instead is whether it belongs to you at all, in writing, with documentation, to every bureau reporting it and to the lender or collector behind it. That is a different argument, and it is the one that works.
1. Full review of all three reports
We map every account, address, inquiry and employer on your file and separate what is yours from what is not. Fraud rarely shows up on only one bureau, and the differences between them are often what proves it.
2. A written list before anything is sent
You get a marked-up copy of your file and a plain list of every item we intend to challenge as fraudulent. Nothing goes out until you have approved it.
3. Disputes filed on your behalf
We draft and send a dispute for every fraudulent item, to every bureau reporting it, and we go straight to the lender or collector behind the account as well. Every letter is kept on file and sent to our partner attorneys, so the record is already built if a violation needs pursuing.
4. Responses tracked and escalated
Bureaus have 30 days to answer. We tell you what came off, what did not and why, in plain language. When an answer comes back as a form letter with no real explanation, we push it further.
5. Attorneys when they keep reporting
A lender or collector that keeps reporting an account after being properly told has a problem. That is when our partner FCRA attorneys step in, at no out-of-pocket cost to you, and clients may be compensated where an item keeps reporting.
How Do The Partner Attorneys Work?
Identity theft cases produce violations more often than ordinary files do, because the fraudulent account was never verifiable to begin with. When a creditor or bureau keeps reporting it after being properly notified, that is a documented failure of a federal duty, and it is worth money to you rather than just an entry to delete.
Our partner attorneys take those cases on directly. There is no additional fee for the attorney cost and nothing out of your pocket. They handle the FTC and police report paperwork as part of the case. The goal is not only removing the account but holding the party that reported it responsible, and clients may be compensated where an item keeps reporting.
Imperial Ethics Credit Repair is not a law firm. Attorney involvement depends on the facts of each file, and outcomes are not guaranteed.
How Long Does Identity Theft Repair Take?
Bureaus have 30 days to answer each dispute, so the work moves in rounds. Fraudulent accounts often come off faster than ordinary derogatory items, because there is nothing real for the lender or collector to confirm.
Most files see movement inside the first round. Cases involving several fraudulent accounts, or accounts sold across state lines, take longer because each lender and collector has to be handled separately. Where an attorney becomes involved, that runs on its own schedule.
